Everyone we know who have children between infancy to about 3 years kept telling us how great the “firsts” would be. They were not wrong and we have started experiencing them already. For example, the other day Emily learned how to pee during the brief moment we have her diaper off. And it was the other morning Emily learned how to throw up on daddy’s dress pants right before he was heading to work. And just the other night, right before we were hoping to wind down for the day, our little Emily discovered she had lungs and could scream for hours and hours for no apparent reason. The “firsts”, they are so nice.
