It is time to start new and fresh. I decided to change things up and while it might be a little more complex, it will make my life easier. I am going to use TypePad for posting blogs, which is sleeplyate.typepad.com, and keep www.dobrindts.com for pictures, about us, etc. I am going to password protect my main site (dobrindts.com), which will have a link to my blog. Not sure if I am going to password protect the blog yet, probably not.
So this is the start of my new postings. I lost some old posts when I tried to export from MovableType, but I downloaded the HTML version. It makes it harder to import to this new blog, but life goes on.
I also have hosted Tim Erickson's family site, which will also be an offshoot of this TypePad site. For my baseball friends, I also have www.redsoxstink.com as a blog, and will probably keep that with MovableType and on my hosting company. That way there is no linkage to my personal site and my redsoxstink site.
Confusing, isn't it. The reason I am using TypePad is because its about 12 bucks a month, and I probably on overage spend between 2 - 5 hours a month maintaining things, so its worth my time. Barely.
